BANJARA-SEVALAL MAHARAJ

Lord Krishna said that Yadha Yadhahi Dharmasya Glanirbhavathu Bharat was born when Dharma was harmed. Sant Sri Sewalal Maharaj was born as such. Banjara became an idol god, transforming the language of the unwritten Banjara into a ritual. 10 crore Lambada people are able to speak the same way everywhere. Banjaras retain their uniqueness with their commitments, rituals, distinctive attire and ornaments even without a permanent residence. From the time of the kings to the time of the British, the Banjaras lived a nomadic life carrying the ammunition needed by the respective kingdoms. In that order the Banjara community faced many difficulties with the religious propaganda of the British and Muslim rulers. In such a situation, Sevalal was instrumental in guiding the Banjaras to the right path. Bhima Nayak and Dharmini Bhai were born on 15 February 1739 in Ranjinayak Tanda, Anantapur District. He had a sense of service since childhood. He is the one who puts the noise made by his mother when he goes to boil the cows to the hungry people without eating them. He baked bread with clay and ate it. This strange behavior came as a surprise to the parents and the crowd. Not one to accept animal sacrifice during fairs. Sevalal cuts off his head and places it at the feet of the goddess, saying, "If I want to sacrifice myself to the goddess, I will sacrifice myself." Mothers are merciful. A true devotee is a servant to the community. Travel under his leadership ', Jagadamba blesses. Jagadamba has since accepted Matane as his mentor. Learned all the educations and engaged in the service of the barns. Sewalal Maharaj made many movements for the benefit of the people. ‘Peripher‌’ is one of them. Propagation of Dharma, economic reforms, prevention of religious conversions, protection of Kshetra Dharma etc. are important. He said that non-violence is a great sin and drinking alcohol and smoking is a curse. In those days he laid the foundation for the doctrine of non-violence in anticipation of the reputation of the Banjaras. Smallpox was once prevalent in Hyderabad. However, the Banjara Hills area where Sant Sewalal Maharaj resides was not affected by the disease. History has it that the king, who recognized his glory, did not eradicate the disease with the blessings of his services. Sant Sri Sewalal is a great man who was born as a commoner and practiced how to grow as an ordinary person. The one who teaches man how to grow as a human being. Everyone should practice his ideal life. He breathed his last in Pauragarh, Maharashtra. His Jayanti and Vardhantu are celebrated there every year. The Telangana government is officially organizing these festivals like nowhere else in the country. I have in the last Lok Sabha brought the sentiments of the Banjaras in this country to the attention of the Government and Prime Minister Modi on several occasions but, so far there has been no response on it. The government does not provide minimum facilities in Pauragarh. Yet the Maharashtra government should declare a day off for Banjara employees and protect Banjara sentiments. If you want to bring the barns under one umbrella. (Today is the 281st birth anniversary of Sant Sri Sewalal Maharaj) —-- Pro. Ajmira Sitaram Nayak, former MP
