Telangana Election Results 2018: After huge win, KCR eyes national politicsTelangana caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is all set to form the government in the state for the second time. KCR won by over 50,000 votes from the Gajwel assembly constituency. His son KTR Rama Rao snatched victory from the Congress led grand alliance in Sircilla. KCR led Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) won 88 seats of the 119 assembly seats, according the Election Commission website. Congress won 19 seats. Telangana, the youngest state of India, went to polls on December 7 to elect its second assembly. This is the first election in Telangana after the state was created in 2014. Around 70 per cent people exercised their voting rights in Telangana Assembly Elections, according to the Election Commission.
