The festival celebrates him the God of good beginnings, prosperity and obstacle remover. It is observed throughout India, especially as a public event in the states of India such as Maharashtra,Telangana,Gujarat and Chhattisgarh,[1][5] usually as a private home festival in other states such Goa,Karnataka,Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh.[6] At public venues, along with the reading of texts and group feasting, athletic and martial arts competitions are held.[7] It is unclear when the festival started, it may have South Indian origins, but historical evidence suggests it became a major social and public event with sponsorship of Shivaji after Muslim-Hindu (Mughal-Maratha) wars, and again in the 19th century after public appeal by Indian freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak,[8] who championed it as a means to circumvent the colonial British government ban on Hindu gatherings through its anti-public assembly legislation in 1892.[9][10][6] Ganesha Chaturthi is also observed in Nepal and by the Hindu diaspora elsewhere such as in the Trinidad, Suriname, Fiji, Mauritius,[11] United States and Europe[4][12] (such as in Tenerife, Spain).[13][14] In recent years lot of educated Indians brought awareness among the people to install ECO friendly Idols of lord Ganesha for the protection of environment.

జీఎస్టీ రేట్ కార్డ్ : తగ్గేవి – పెరిగేవి ఇవే.. జూలై 1 నుంచి ఎలా ఉండబోతున్నాయో ఇలా తెలుసుకోండి ఒకే దేశం, ఒకే పన్ను పేరిట కేంద్రంలోని మోఢీ ప్రభుత్వం సాహసోపేతమైన జీఎస్టీ పన్నుల విధానాన్ని తీసుకొచ్చింది. ఈ ప్రకారం ఒక వస్తువుకు ఓ రాష్ట్రంలో ఓ రేటు, మరొక రాష్ట్రంలో మరొక రేటు అనే విధానం ఉండదు. అనేక స్టేట్, సెంట్రల్ ట్యాక్స్ లన్నింటిని రద్దుపర్చి జీఎస్టీ ఒక్కటే వేస్తారు. జులై 1నుంచి అమల్లోకి వస్తున్న కొత్త పన్నుల విధానం ప్రభావం దేశంలోని ప్రతి మనిషిపై ఉంటుంది. ఇప్పటి వరకు వస్తువుపై విధిస్తున్న పన్ను విధానం మొత్తం సమూలంగా మారబోతుంది. మరి ఆ రేటు ఇప్పుడు ఎలా ఉన్నాయి.. జీఎస్టీ వచ్చిన ఎలా ఉండబోతున్నాయి అనేది తెలుసుకోవాల్సిందే. ఆయా వస్తువులపై ప్రస్తుతం పన్ను ఎంత ఉంది.. జీఎస్టీలో ఎంత ట్యాక్స్ విధించారో తెలుసుకుందాం… రోజువారీ వినియోగంలో ఇవి కొన్ని మాత్రమే. మొత్తం 1200 వస్తువుల ధరలు మారబోతున్నాయి. టీ పౌడర్ : ప్రస్తుతం : 29%, GST తర్వాత 18%(తగ్గుతుంది) కాఫీ పౌడర్ : ప్రస్తుతం : 29%, GST తర్వాత 18శాతం (తగ్గుతుంది) చక్కెర : ప్రస్తుతం 10%, GST తర్వాత 5శాతం (తగ్గుతుంది) నెయ్యి : ప్రస్తుతం 5%, GST తర్వాత...
